Designing for large scale printing is a little different than most common print jobs. The graphics need to be formatted and sized large enough to ensure crisp and vivid images when printed on fabric.

Submitting finished art work?

To reemphasize, if you are submitting your own artwork it’s crucial that you review our Artwork Guidelines since large format printing must be set up and sized correctly in order to print at the quality needed to produce a large, eye-catching display.

Samples & Color Matching

All our products are printed on fabric using a process called dye sublimation. We offer free fabric samples for you to feel the fabric and view the print quality prior to order.
If you need a sample of your specific design prior to production for color matching or sampling, additional fees will apply. We can match to Pantone (PMS) colors but due to the nature of printing, it may not be a 100% match. We recommend ordering a sample to make sure you are happy with the print color prior to order.


How long will my Custom Exhibit Backdrop last?

With proper care, your CEB will last as long as you need it. Because our CEBs are printed using dye-sublimation, the high-quality image is actually printed INTO the fabric, not ON the fabric. This means your image will not fade over time.

How fast is your turnaround?

Once the artwork is approved it typically takes only 3-4 days to produce your CEB. With shipping times varying depending on location it will usually only be around 5-7 business days to receive your CEB.

Can I attach lights?

Yes. The diameter of our foldable drape support is the same diameter as the industry standard drape supports (1.5 inches). This means any light you would attach to other supports will also work with our CEB Kits.

How much does it weigh?

A kit containing an 8’ x 10’ backdrop weighs approximately 10 lbs.

Can I carry my CEB kit on a plane?

Yes, the dimensions of the CEB kit should fit in the overhead bins of most aircraft. Refer to your airline’s carry-on baggage policy for additional guidance.

Do you charge for artwork/graphic design?

No. We will work with you to achieve the ideal look for your new CEB. Whether you provide us artwork or our graphic designers create it, there is never a design fee.

Does the fabric backdrop wrinkle?

Our fabric backdrops are “wrinkle resistant”. If cared for and stored properly, the backdrops will remain virtually wrinkle free. However we recognize that sometimes in transit items may shift and as a result, some wrinkles may appear. In that case, a simple steam from a hand steamer or steam iron will remove the wrinkles and the backdrop will look as good as new.

How long does it take to set up a CEB kit?

Due to its light weight and simple design, most people can set up their backdrop kit in less than 5 minutes.

What’s included in each kit?

Each CEB kit includes a Custom Backdrop, Quickfold Support, Extension Tool, MPC – Multi Purpose Connectors, Valance Hangers, and a Grab-N-Go Bag. The PLUS kit also includes Quickfold Uprights, and X Bases with Pins.

How much space in my booth will the CEB take up?

Because we print your image on a fabric backdrop, the CEB kit takes up virtually no space. This frees up space for you to include other items (such as featured products) in your booth.

What size booth kits do you offer?

Our kits match the most common trade show both sizes: 8’ x 10’, and 8’ x 20’. Need a custom size? No problem- our Account Executives can work with you to design a kit to meet your exact specifications.

The file I want to be printed on my backdrop is very large- how do I get this file to Custom Exhibit Backdrops

Smaller files can be emailed directly to our Account Executives. Larger files (up to 128 MB in size) can be uploaded directly on the Design Service page. Finally, files larger than 128 MB can be submitted using our Drop Box account- please contact your Account Executive for details.
